Cookies & Local Storage

Essential service storage

Authentication storage keeps your account signed in and supports account security. Supabase may keep session tokens in browser local storage until you sign out or the session expires. The app also stores a record of your cookie-settings choice. Essential service storage cannot be switched off within the app without affecting the requested features; you can block or clear it using your browser settings.

Settings and unfinished work

When you use these features, your device may retain answer-sheet settings, uploaded fonts, the sample-card visibility choice, camera preferences and unsaved review drafts. This uses local storage or IndexedDB rather than advertising cookies. Drafts are scoped to the account and sheet but are still stored on that device. A successful review save clears the corresponding draft.

These values can persist across visits. Use the app’s controls or clear site storage in your browser to remove them. Clearing site storage may sign you out and permanently remove unsaved corrections and custom local settings. It does not delete server-side exams or scores.

Analytics, advertising and checkout

Google Analytics 4 is optional and off by default. When configured, it loads only after you allow analytics in Cookie settings. We measure public pages only, with advertising signals disabled. We do not send teacher workspace activity, student IDs, answers, scores, email addresses or sign-in query strings to Analytics. Google may process browser/device information and analytics cookie identifiers outside Canada. You can withdraw consent in Cookie settings; this disables collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies on this site. Advertising trackers are not used.

If you choose to open Stripe checkout, Stripe may use cookies or similar technology for payment security and fraud prevention under its own privacy and cookie notices. Third-party checkout is separate from this site’s local preferences.
